Scratch Force

Have you ever noticed some of the tires on the wheels of a bicycle or car. Grooved tire was made. What is its purpose? The goal is to bike or car tire does not slip when passing the road, particularly road slippery. Thus, the flow of bicycle and automobile tires in order to increase friction.
Does the frictional force?
Friction is the force arising from surface peregesekan two or more objects that are touching each other.

Frictional forces for human benefit, among others:
- Stop or slow moving vehicles to avoid collisions. For example, friction arises when the brakes on a bicycle or motorcycle.
- Facilitating the movement of people, objects or vehicles. For example we are much easier to walk on rough roads or asphalt than in the slippery clay.
- Cutting objects. For example friction between the saw with a wooden stick.
In addition has the advantage, friction can also be detrimental. Adverse frictional forces include:
- Surface vehicle tires or footwear to be worn because of rubbing against a rough road surface.
- Friction between the wheel axle with the hole, and friction between the parts in the machine.
