Force of Weight

Consider the following sentence "How much do you weight ?" and "how many pounds your body mass?" Which of the two sentences is that we often hear? The answer is the first sentence, but according to physics is the second sentence in question is due to mass instead of weight. In the science of weight physics unit Newton (N) while the mass unit kilogram (kg).

Seacara mathematically can be formulated:

W = m × g

Definition:
w = weight of the object (Newton)
m = mass of the object (kg)
g = acceleration of gravity = 9.8 N / kg (N / kg = m / s ^ 2)
