Understanding Work (W)

To understand the work, consider the following events!
1. Pedal rickshaw pedicab drivers to carry passengers from one place to another. In this case the rickshaw drivers do work.
2. A horse was pulling a train that transports goods. In this event the horse do the work.
3. Vegetable sellers pushing his cart from one place to another. In this incident vegetable sellers to do business.
A force acting on the body said to be doing business if the force causes it to change places. The force does not produce meaningful changes do not work. Working mathematically formulated as follows:
W = F x S

definition:
W = Work (Joule)
F = Force (Newton)
S = Distance (Metres)

In cgs units:
Business unit or dyne.cm ERG
Work units dyne
Distance units centimeters

Unit Conversions:
1 N = 10 ^ 5 dynes
1 m = 10 ^ 2 cm
1 Joule = 1 Nm = 1 x 10 ^ 7 ERG
