Hydrostatic Pressure

The pressure in the liquid depends on the density and depth. With the force of gravity causes all objects on earth has weight. Heavy objects will be pressing on the field of press, as well as liquid substances in a quiet place. Hydrostatic pressure is the pressure in the liquid caused by the weight of the liquid itself.
Hydrostatic pressure is influenced by: The depth, density of the liquid, and not influenced by the shape of the vessel.
Mathematically hidrosttais pressure is defined as follows:
Ph = p (rho) x g x h
Ph = S x h
description:
Ph = hydrostatic pressure (N / m ^ 2) or (dyne / cm ^ 2)
h = depth of liquid (m) or (cm)
p (rho) = density of liquid (kg / m ^ 3)
S = specific gravity of liquid (N / m ^ 3)
g = gravity (m / s ^ 2)
