Power is the rate of doing work, or work done per second. Mathematically formulated :
P = W / t
Description:
P = power units joules / second or watts
w = business units joules.
t = time second unit

Another unit of power is a kilowatt, and horsepower (hp) or horsepower.
1 kw (kilowatts) = 1000 watts
